Angled cup or retainer, used with the wiper switch, it locates and maintains the angle to the dash from behind. 1969 and 1970 are different, obvious when you realize that the flat spot is indexed differently between the two years. 1969 has the flat spot oriented at the bottom. Both deluxe and standard use the same retractor in 1968 - 1969 and left is the same design as right. This is a 100% complete, functional set taken from multiple 1967 Mercury Cougars. This is a complete set of Deluxe (chrome bands on buckles) safety belts removed from a 1969 hardtop minus torx bolt hardware.
