Allen head set screw for all stock Ford automatic shifter handles on any 1967-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford including Mustang. Uses the same 3/32 inch allen wrench for attaching as the originals. Most handles take two of these set screws, one on the dummy button, and one to attach to the top of the shifter lever. The 1973 all chrome shift handle only uses one of these set screws. This aluminum backed, tar sound deadener with adhesive is approximately 1/16 of an inch thick and works well behind door panels, at the firewall and under the headliner as a sound, heat and vapor barrier. One sheet required per door. Cut to fit, then remove paper backing to reveal adhesive, and stick in place. Used angled chrome spacer for any 1969 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Good used part with very good chrome plating, usually one of the small locating tabs will be broken off of the back. One per side, 1968 does not use the triangle markings. The letter "D" stamping was in place to aid line workers with correct placement on the car.

We claim that in time every nut bolt and clip will be documented on this site! Here is yet another tiny little, one year only trivial part that only the most detailed enthusiast will even care about.
