Ford called this part a 'sleeve'. Attaches to the lower shifter arm with a hitch pin. Has nice bushing, with correct nut, washer, and pin. The 1967/68 and 1969/73 versions are identical. This restored trim piece mounts to the back of the vent frame of any 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Driver side only, made of galvanized steel. These NOS sill plates always have some degree of shelf wear due to the many years they have been shuffled around. The biggest difference you will see with NOS vs. the two different levels of reproductions is the finish. The NOS parts are far less bright and less prone to showing hairline scratches. One other benefit is that NOS sill plates already have the FORD decal in place. Sold individually.

These interchange left to right, they are a mirror image of one another. We recently did a side by side comparison of these so called "concours" sill plates and found very little difference when comparing them to the "economy" version...
