Product Condition Grades
Below is a general description of what the criteria is for our product condition grades. These are generalizations that are intended to give you an idea of the condition of the product at a quick glance. Because different parts degrade at different rates, there are variances in what the letters represent, please see the products description for details about the condition of any particular product.
A = Excellent / Above Average
B = Average / Some flaws / Good to Excellent Driver Quality
C = Obvious flaws / Poor to Average Driver Quality
D, E, F = Worse, Worser, Worsest
Very rare find as the vast majority of these XR7-G steering wheel emblems were gold plated. This is very different from the run of the mill used emblems we have all seen with the brass electro plating worn off. I have owned two XR7-G Cougars with this version of emblem installed and others have reported finding the same version on their original XR7-G's. The burnished version was apparently done first: Ford part number S8WS-3849-A and the much more common gold version done second which carries a Ford / Shelby part number of S8WS-3849-B. To learn more
