D0TA-C Application is for most 1970 428 Cobra Jet engines without air conditioning, and most 428 SCJ engines. According to the excellent website 428cobrajet.org there are instances of some early 428CJ and 428SCJ engines using one of the other two Cobra Jet fans. See C9ZE-E or C9OE-H fan listings. Fan description - 7 blades and 18 inches in diameter. Ford master part number D0TZ-8600-B. Stamped D0TA-8600-C.
Current fan in our inventory has a date of K72, or October 1972. This would have been used on the first generation Ford Bronco with a heavy duty cooling package. These are incorrect dated fans for the Cougar or Mustang thus the lower price. Correctly dated fans trade trade at upwards toward $1000.
