Top bracket that attaches dash pad to driver side instrument cluster for all 1967-68 Mercury Cougars. Standard and XR7 models. Normally bare or zinc coated steel. This is a needed plate, it reinforces the top of the plastic of the instrument cluster and provides some strength when attaching the dash pad. Ford part number C7WY-10C899.

Very hard to find 69 - 70 Shelby / 67 - 69 Cougar 4 speed shifter knob. Almost a year in development was spent to get as close as possible to original N.O.S. sample. These very rarely come up for sale used and when they do, they are expensive. Knob insert is made of metal just like original not brass. Cougar actually used a larger ribbed plate on manual transmission cars without a console but this Mustang part is an inexpensive alternative. The rubber shift boot screws to the transmission tunnel, carpet then goes over it and lastly this retainer slips over the boot and hides the cut edges of your carpet.
