1967 Ford Mustang

This great little kit replaces stock Ford bushings that can wear out in as quick as one year. This is a very simple repair and upgrade, once you have removed the pedal support from the car. Upon completion of this you will be rewarded with greatly reduced pedal pressure and the knowledge that you will never have to replace these bushings again. Used cigar or cigarette lighter threaded retainer with ground lug. Fits any 1969 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with factory installed console. The ground lug is needed for the heating element in the socket. The consoles are made of plastic and use the common socket designed for steel dashes. This retainer is part of C9MB-15055-A socket and retainer assembly. 

Used on the ignition lock cylinder. This unit locates and maintains the angle to the dash from behind. Attaches with one small screw, and the bezel and retainer nut secures the whole works to the dash from the front. 1967-68 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang.

Good value, used as they come out of the cars, will have some flash rust since they were never plated or painted, usually it will not come with the small screw. Cougar actually used a larger ribbed plate on manual transmission cars without a console but this Mustang part is an inexpensive alternative. The rubber shift boot screws to the transmission tunnel, carpet then goes over it and lastly this retainer slips over the boot and hides the cut edges of your carpet. We have created all of the components needed to economically install the steel nutsert or Riv-nut for the exterior mirrors that mount to the car doors. Our steel Riv-nut uses a 1/4 inch hole.
