    Description

    Very nice reproduction stainless steel, carburetor deflector gasket for W code GT-E 427-4V engines. American made stainless steel plate with tabs, copied from an original. 

    Order of installation: Open gasket #15292, SS plate #31256, Phenolic spacer #41936, paper gasket #11813, Holley 4088 carburetor.

    Originally the spacer was part of the spacer assembly which had Ford part numbers of: 

    C8AZ-9A589-C,  Engineering number C8AE-9A589-E

    Ford Technical Service Bulletin using this part on certain 1968 390-4V engines with Holley carburetor. Customer complaints of momentary engine hesitation on acceleration and/or rough engine idle may be encountered on 1968 390-4V GT engine equipped units built prior to approximately December 15, 1967. These units use Holley carburetor models C80F-C (standard transmission) and C80F-D (automatic transmission).
