Reproduction Wittek tower hose clamp kit for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang equipped with the 302 or 351 engine. This set of 10 clamps is concours correct and features the correct date stamps. It is often little details like this that separates first and second place when your precious Cat or Pony is being judged.
The Wittek Company manufactured the tower clamps used on the Cougar from 1967 to 1973, the Mustang from 1964 1/2 to 1973, as well as many other Ford and Mercury cars during that period. In October or 1993, the company filed for bankruptcy. This has made the tower clamp unavailable to the classic car restorer. Our supplier was able to bid at the auction for enough of the original tooling and parts to make these clamps available again. Other companies have also reproduced these clamps, but...
Nice reproduction oil dipstick made from all steel, painted Ford engine blue. Only fits 289 or 302 Ford engines from 1967-73. These dipstick tubes have the 'full' and 'add' markings in the correct place, however they do not have any Ford part numbers stamped on them. Black steel as shown, not plain shiny steel like originals. Replaces Ford part # C7OE-6750-B or C8OE-6750-B.
