This little switch is mounted on the back side of your interior temperature control panel on most 1969-72 Ford products. It energizes the A/C pump when you move the the knob to the "A/C" position. 15 AMP micro switch. Starting sometime in 1972, this switch was incorporated with the vacuum selector manifold. These are used hose clamps that have a tab and fold over on them selves. These were dipped in a rubber like substance to prevent chaffing. The ones that we have available do have some cracking or damage to this coating. It should be easy to 'dip' them again with the product that is available in most hardware stores. We normally see 2 of these clamps, or straps bundling the hoses on most cars. These clamps should fit a variety of different Ford and Mercury products, not just Mustang and Cougar....
