Nice unused space saver spare tire for a Ford. Vintage Good Year brand tire with size F78-14. BF Goodrich is another common brand of tire installed for use with unique storage location, hold down, and inflation bottle. This one does not appear to have been inflated or used on the road. Still has the nubs on the face of the tire as shown.

Original space saver tire marked F78-15 from a 1970's Mercury or Ford. GoodYear brand it has the larger hub size, bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2. Mid late 1972 Mercury Cougar, approximate starting is 3-1-1972 through 1973. D2WY-6540110-A style has the style of keeper for the deck / trunk lock cylinder that pushes up through a rectangular access hole in the bottom. These deck / trunk lids have a rectangular access hole under the trunk lock with a single rivet or screw hole. For deck / trunk lids it is all about rust under the inner rear lip... These barrel nuts or clips are exactly like the original ones inserted into the trunk for attaching 1967-68 "Mercury" script, and 1971-72 Mercury Cougar "Mercury" Hood scripts. The manufacturer indicates that these tubular nuts fit 1/8" holes. Pin size on those emblems are 3/32". These clips are also used to attach the 1967 quarter panel emblems. Original used female half of the factory air conditioning coupler for all 1967-73 liquid line or sight glass hoses. Brass construction, includes the plunger and spring. Also sold as a two piece kit which includes the male and female components. Replaces Ford part number C1SZ-19B596-A.

These are used hose clamps that have a tab and fold over on them selves. These were dipped in a rubber like substance to prevent chaffing. The ones that we have available do have some cracking or damage to this coating. It should be easy to 'dip' them again with the product that is available in most hardware stores. We normally see 2 of these clamps, or straps bundling the hoses on most cars. These clamps should fit a variety of different Ford and Mercury products, not just Mustang and Cougar....

Used connector plug that attaches to the A/C vacuum switch assembly on the 69 - 72 Cougar or Mustang. The six vacuum hoses are molded into the plug, and for those instances when someone has cut a hose, simply use a hose connector.
