This fits behind the door panel and is needed to install your remote mirror correctly.*NOTE*1969 Cougar owners do not need this part as it is built in the the chromed plastic, rectangular bezel on the door panel.

This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. In 1967 - 1968 there were eight per wheel lip moulding, two per fender extension moulding, two per center grille moulding and five per hood lip moulding for a total of 50 screws. In 1969-1973 they were used on the wheel lips mouldings. The 1971 - 1973 hood lip mouldings used the same screw but it was 5/8" tall.

Used 1970-72 black AUTOLITE marked oil fill cap with black plastic elbow. Several variations noted from our collection, AUTOLITE and MOTORCRAFT versions. Will need detailing or fresh black paint applied. Would also suggest replacing the rubber grommet. These 50 year old rubber grommets are rock hard and likely leak air. Chromed engine oil dipstick as found on all 1971 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with 429CJ engines (C or J Code). Top of the shield to the dip stick is 16.23 inches. The handles were chromed originally. Ford part # D0OZ-6750-B, Ford casting # D0OE-6750-B.*NOTE* This is not the same dipstick as found on garden variety 429 and 460 engines.

Very rare trim ring used in conjunction with a 15x7" steel wheel and small hub cap on the 1971 Cougar 429 CJ. Only a hand full of Cougars ever got this trim ring. This would also have been used on a few applications like a 1970 BOSS Mustang or 1971 429 Cobra Jet Mustang, Torino or Cyclone. Grade B will show minor scratches and wear.

These are used hose clamps that have a tab and fold over on them selves. These were dipped in a rubber like substance to prevent chaffing. The ones that we have available do have some cracking or damage to this coating. It should be easy to 'dip' them again with the product that is available in most hardware stores. We normally see 2 of these clamps, or straps bundling the hoses on most cars. These clamps should fit a variety of different Ford and Mercury products, not just Mustang and Cougar....

Ford Casting number as seen on the bottom side is D1OB-17713-AWA. Many people misinterpret it as D10B-17713-AWA, DI0B-17713-AW or Dl0B-17713-AWA. Perfect base with no cracks or bends. This is an exact replacement for a 1970 remote sport mirror. Nearly indistinguishable from a 1968. Obviously a larger ball and longer than found on 1969, 1971-73 remote mirrors. This emblem was used on the driver side of the 1971 - 1972 Cougar hood and on the passenger side of the trunk lid in 1967 - 1968. Also used on various other Mercury products like the Comet, Cyclone, and Marquis prior to 1973. This will not fit on the fender extension of the 1967- 1968 Cougar. Stainless steel throttle pedal surround trim. Self attaching to part number D1ZZ-9735-B. This used part may have some wear, but will not have broken tabs. Fine steel wool really shines these up. It appears that this trim may not have been used all the way through 1973. Ford probably eliminated it as a cost saving measure.

This was an adhesive emblem and has long since fallen off most cars or was removed when the car was painted. We often times have driver quality emblems available, but be aware, they will have some pitting issues.Our reproduction 67-68 pillar emblem is a good substitute.Original Ford part number D1WY-6542532-A.

This is one of the smallest "Cougar" emblems ever put on a Mercury Cougar. Only the 70-73 two spoke cat and xr7-G shift handle Cougar was smaller. It is also the most delicate! Very unusual to find the tail and all limbs intact on this fragile little kitty. Silver spray paint will make this cat look new again, they did not have a chrome finish from the factory. Now that we have reproduced this emblem there is little incentive to purchase this over-priced used emblem.

Found on the C pillars of a 1971 - 1973 Mercury Cougar XR7 Coupe. We rarely get good used examples of these emblems as they are always badly faded. These mount on the lower part of the roof behind the quarter windows. This part of the roof is also known as the 'C' pillar.

Rare Cougar only GT emblems. The Mustang GT emblems had different stud locations. These were used on 1968 Mercury Cougar GT models.  This emblem shares the exact same pin locations with the 1968 6.5Litre emblem, so the factory could punch holes and installed the tubular nuts in the fenders of all S and X code Cougars, allowing either emblem to be installed. This little emblem was used only on the two spoke steering wheels from 1969 - 1973. We can pretty much guarantee one if not both of the two mounting studs will be broken but because of the way it fits into the recess of the steering wheel pad, gluing it into place is not a problem. This little emblem was used only on the two spoke steering wheels from 1969 - 1973. We can pretty much guarantee one if not both of the two mounting studs will be broken but because of the way it fits into the recess of the steering wheel pad, gluing it into place is not a problem. The tail will always be broken and probably at least one leg is missing on this grade B part. While not an exact fit our 3 spoke wheel emblem cat will fit on this black background.

This is a plastic cushion, washer and/or spring between the lower knuckle and inner tube on a 1968 - 1973 tilt-away steering column. This part is located in the left front corner of the panel and has to be rotated inward to remove it from the guide rail so the panel cannot be removed. Imprinted on the plastic portion of the part is a Golde part number 100 414 645. Ford part number C8WY-65502L09-A
