Reproduction rubber bumper that mounts to the metal axle snubber on Ford nine inch rear ends on 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs. New part with a fine threaded stud, also called a pinion bumper. The correct casting number is seen on this rubber axle bumper is C3AA-4906-C, this version has fine threads. Also called a pumpkin, 3.00:1 open ratio. 1967 9 inch third members did not originally come with fill plugs. The back of the housing had the oil fill plug. You can mix and match 9 inch assemblies from 1967-1970, just make sure that you have at least one fill plug.

#373820-S Copper washer for attaching the 8 inch or 9 inch third members to the axle housings. Steel washers will leak, made from copper which is a soft metal and seals under the attaching nuts. Copper washers like the OEM Ford installed washers. Takes 10 washers total for both 8 and 9 inch rear ends. *Tip - It is a good idea to inspect or replace your old washers, many times they have tool marks from the housing or nuts that cause small troublesome leaks.

Concours rear axle vent hose for any 1967-73 Mercury Cougar or 1965-73 Ford Mustang. Rubber hose that attaches to the metal nipple on the top of your rear axle housing. Fits 8 and 9 inch rear ends.
