This is an exact replacement for a 1970 remote sport mirror. Nearly indistinguishable from a 1968. Obviously a larger ball and longer than found on 1969, 1971-73 remote mirrors. This threaded replacement wand will require you to cut 8/32" fine threads in your original controller. It appears that this trim may not have been used all the way through 1973. Ford probably eliminated it as a cost saving measure.

These are used hose clamps that have a tab and fold over on them selves. These were dipped in a rubber like substance to prevent chaffing. The ones that we have available do have some cracking or damage to this coating. It should be easy to 'dip' them again with the product that is available in most hardware stores. We normally see 2 of these clamps, or straps bundling the hoses on most cars. These clamps should fit a variety of different Ford and Mercury products, not just Mustang and Cougar....

This pigtail fits left or right rear quarter power window switches and motor. Taken from an original used harness that had a Ford part number of D1ZB-14644-AB

This reproduction universal joint fits the differential end of the drive axle and is used on all Mercury Cougars or Ford Mustangs equipped with the 289, 302, 351 Windsor as well as most 351 Clevelands (see chart). Includes a grease fitting for extended life. 3.25" span cups are 1.12" and 1.00" diam. Replaces Ford part # C3AZ-4635-F.

Good used axle vent nipple or tube. This vent tube screws into the top of the rear axle and is a breather / vent to equalize the pressure inside the axle tube. Fits both 8 inch and 9 inch rear axles. Fits Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang 1967-73.  A (5/16" inside diameter) rubber hose about 18-1/4 inches long attaches to the nipple. Has a very tiny diameter hole inside, about 0.062". Used upper steering column bearing for your 67 - 73 Cougar or Mustang. One required per car. Fixed Columns only use the upper bearing, while the tilt columns used an upper and lower.
