This kit includes the 4 fine threaded "T" shaped studs (with nuts) that mount the backing plate to the spindle and the plate that goes on the inside of the backing plate. These are used parts that are not damaged or corroded, taken from a Western parts car.

This used grade "A" bezel for the driver side master switch was used in the latter part of 1970 through the 1972 model year. These do not "pry" off rather they are removed by slipping a small screw driver between the bezel and door panel and depressing the clip tab so as to release it from the master switch housing. Plan on some degree of pitting. Master power window switch bezel for any late 1970-72 Mercury Cougar or 1971-72 Ford Mustang. Replaces Ford part number C9AB-14A432-C.

Used grade "A" bezel used on the passenger side door and both rear seat switches. Looks similar to the 1970 bezel but is held in place with very hard to find clips not speed nuts. Regardless of what you may have been told, this fifth switch found closest to the dash is not a power door lock switch rather it is to "lock-out" the power window on the passenger door and the two windows in the rear so the passengers cannot operate their power windows via their individual switches. Treat this switch with care (try not to ever use it) and lubricate it. These are very delicate and hard to obtain. Ford number stamped on the side C9AB-14A695-B.

This is one of the hardest clips to obtain on any year of Mercury Cougar. Two required per bezel for the three bezels located on the passenger door and the two bezels in the back seat. This plastic socket is very brittle and almost always breaks when installing a new door jamb switches. Does not fit cars with Warning Group with door ajar option. Simply install by carefully breaking the old brittle plastic socket apart with pliers to free up the wire leads and plug wire leads into the new socket.

This is the engine gauge loom that runs from the coil, temp. sender and oil sender to the pigtail on the firewall. Designed for the 1971 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang.
