This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. You will notice the reproduction has a larger head (The two on the right in the lower picture are repros) than both of the used versions typically found on 67-73 Cougars. Stainless screw, most correct looking we have found. In 1967 - 1968 there were eight per wheel lip moulding, two per fender extension moulding, two per center grille moulding and five per hood lip moulding for a total of 50 screws. In 1969 - 1973 they were used on the wheel lips mouldings. The 1971 - 1973 hood lip mouldings used the same screw but it was 5/8" tall. These valve covers no longer come with the word "Cougar", only the walking cat. Before these high quality reproductions were reproduced original pairs often traded hands for $400-600. This pair is better quality than the originals in every way. They will allow for roller tip rockers (unlike originals) have better quality casting characteristics and are made from better material. Same as our crinkle finished Mercury Cougar valve covers but with a polished finish. These are rarely in stock so do not be surprised if our system will not let you order. We get these from Scott Drake and the only reason they polish a few sets a year is when they find a set of black covers that have a defect, they send them in to be polished. So... The majority of the rocker moulding end clips we get look like this unit in that the stud is broken or the wire tensioner has been broken off. Putting a new stud in one of these clips is not a hard job. Sold Individually.

Famous 'Cal Custom' aluminum finned oil pan that was so popular throughout the 60's, 70's and 80's. It has not been available for years, but it is back again. Pan is made from all new pressure die cast tooling and then fully machined to offer a precise fit and leak free installation. These look great in combination with the Finned Air Cleaner and Valve Covers. Replaces Ford Part #: C5ZZ-6675.

These little rivets are used to affix the ID tag to the passenger side of the 3 and 4 speed top-loader transmissions. Most tags are held in place by two rivets but on some only two are used from the factory.

This nut fits onto the strut brace at the front of the car, and not the control arm end. It is the lock nut that goes on after the the bigger strut rod bushing nut.Replaces Ford part # 340460-S

This clip is the same as a door panel clip with the exception that it does not have the foam spacer. This clip was used on the 1968 XR7 overhead console, 1967 - 1968 xr7 and standard model upper and lower console pads, seat back access panels and several other applications. This original clip holds tighter than the reproduction. We recommend using this used clip over our reproduction for applications like the seat back because the reproductions often do not cut it. Two or three of these clips were needed per door to mount the padded armrest. Three were used per armrest for a total of six, on 1969-70 Cougar and Mustangs. Two used in 1971-73 on standard Cougars. Sold individually.Replaces Ford part # C6AZ-6224146-B.

Used in multiple applications front and rear lap belts. Inner and outer, marked with a letter "B" in at least three known fonts. 1-3/4 inches long, 1/2 inch shoulder, Torx 50 tool for installation and removal.

Two per car, identified with the letter "D" in three known fonts. This bolt was used in conjunction with a chrome spacer / washer that is also marked with the letter "D". 1-1/2 inches long, 1/4 inch shoulder, use a Torx 50 for installation and removal.

Used on inner and outer rear seat belt bolts, four per car in 1970 -1971 and used only on the inner rears in 72 - 73 due to the addition of rear retractors. Used in conjunction with two red washer / spacers, marked with three known font styles of the letter "A". 1-5/16 inches long, Torx 50 is the tool for installing and removing.

One per side, 1968 does not use the triangle markings. The letter "D" stamping was in place to aid line workers with correct placement on the car.

Often you will see minor irregularities in these washers. These would be considered "blems". Two required per car, used only on the re-tractors.

Replaces Ford Part # 382626-S Sold individually

This fits behind the door panel and is needed to install your remote mirror correctly.*NOTE*1969 Cougar owners do not need this part as it is built in the the chromed plastic, rectangular bezel on the door panel.
