Reproduction Detroit Locker Glove Box Decal for the 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972 and 1973 Mercury Cougar

This reproduction emergency / parking brake idler bracket welds to the under side of the floor on the driver side (left hand) of the vehicle and has the factory spec pin.

This passenger side (right hand) reproduction emergency / parking brake cable idler bracket mounts to the right front floor pan. The idler bracket is often discarded when the floor pan is removed for replacement. We also have good used units in stock for those that desire 100% correctness.

Grade "A" doors have never been dented in, cracked in the door latch area or rusted in the corners under the weatherstrip. When you turn it over and inspect it, the bottom seam it is not expanding from the inside out due to rust. Ford part number D2AZ-9A603-D (outer section) and Ford part number D2AZ-9A603-C (inner section) make up this two piece shroud for the 1972 - 1973 Q code 351-4V engine. This inner shield conforms to the 351-4V cast iron exhaust manifold only and the outer portion fits both the 2V and 4V.

Reproduction front tack strip for the front bow of the convertible top on the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang convertible. When replacing your convertible top, it's also a good idea to replace the tack strips in the front and rear bows of the convertible top frame. This is the "Chrome" trim across the top of the windshield on the inside. This piece will need to be sandblasted and repainted. Many people have chromed these, but because of Federal safety regulations from the factory they were painted satin silver.Ford Part Number: D1ZZ-7603606-A.

C5ZZ-7610962-A Ford description of this plate is "Plate - Front floor lower cross member". All 1967-73 Cougar convertibles and all 1965-73 Ford Mustang convertibles use this plate. Bolts into place with 6 hex bolts 3/8-16 x 1-1/8" with washers. These were painted satin black from the factory. As you look at our picture below you will see the repro is about half the thickness. The repro is different in every detail but will work. We also have used plates with minor damage at a reduced cost.

Mid late 1972 Mercury Cougar, approximate starting is 3-1-1972 through 1973. D2WY-6540110-A style has the style of keeper for the deck / trunk lock cylinder that pushes up through a rectangular access hole in the bottom. These deck / trunk lids have a rectangular access hole under the trunk lock with a single rivet or screw hole. For deck / trunk lids it is all about rust under the inner rear lip... This engine compartment lamp assembly includes lamp socket, bracket, mercury switch, and length of wire. *NOTE* This unit was used on Cougars and Mustangs produced before 12/15/1971.Replaces part # D1ZZ-15702-A

This is an upgraded version from what you see in our video but the idea is the same. This tool has a square hole so you can use your 3/8" drive ratchet or breaker bar to get the correct angle and have even better control of your leverage when placing the torsion bar into the slot. This is the correct, original gasket for your 1971-73 Mercury Cougar antenna. Not only is it much thicker than the Ford Mustang gasket, but it also has a different overall geometry to it.
