This plate attaches the 3/8" steel fuel line under the driver's side rear torque box, as it makes its way from the rear frame rail out to the rocker area. It acts both as a mount and as a protector from road debris. These were used on late 1967 to 1968 Cougars and Mustang with the 3/8" fuel line. Early 1967 cars had smaller 5/16" fuel line, and different routing (through the transmission tunnel), and did not use this part. Mounting bolts included.

Hot idle compensator valve assembly for many Ford engines with PCV, starting in 1964 through early 1968. Typically found on 1964-66 Ford 260-2V, and 289-2 engines with air conditioning. 1967-68 289-2V, 302-2V and some 390 engines all with air conditioning and PCV or closed emissions. The High tone is indicated in raised letters located on the perimeter of the horn. This threaded replacement wand will require you to cut 8/32" fine threads in your original controller. Your OEM mirror controller is made of a very soft metal so one can often install these as "self tapping".1967 and 1968 are different, see comparison picture. The 1968 version was rounded off due to new safety standards. The mirror nut tool will fit over the 1967 wand, but not the 1968.

This restored trim piece mounts to the back of the vent frame of any 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Driver side only, made of galvanized steel. Yes, these were a dealer option available in the day. They cover the painted portion of your door sill that is not covered by the scuff plate. Great way to prevent scratches in your paint or hide existing scratches. Since they are made from stainless steel, you can polish them if and when they get scratched.
