Reproduction transmission support for 67 - 70 Cougars and Mustangs. We strongly recommend that you buy our used support, as these reproductions are inferior to the originals, and to be honest, they simply do not fit well.

NOS power steering ram cylinder dated 6H25 or August 25, 1966. This one is date coded for a very early built 1967 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang, including Shelby GT350 and GT500. Bendix manufactured, shows a paint marking and gold cadmium? nut and band. Still has the plastic plugs and cardboard protection on the threaded shaft and drag link stud. Seals presumed to be good, but no guarantees.

This is a much higher quality bracket than other reproductions. Correct texture and fit. The bracket offered by most companies is just pot metal sprayed gray. Replaces Ford Part #: C7SZ-3A732-B or C7ZZ-3A732-B.

Installation of this bracket is easy but you will have to make a spacer to fit on the outside of the frame rail. One must use this part when installing headers with power steering. Hopefully you bought this bracket first before you tore out the nut inserts in the frame. Yes, these were a dealer option available in the day. They cover the painted portion of your door sill that is not covered by the scuff plate. Great way to prevent scratches in your paint or hide existing scratches. Since they are made from stainless steel, you can polish them if and when they get scratched. C7SZ-3D600-A  Power steering pump adjusting spacer for use without air conditioning. For most 1967 - 1969 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with 289, 302, 390, 428CJ engines, excludes 1969 351W and 1969 Boss 302 engines. Spacer dimensions: 7/16" I.D. x 1" O.D. and 1/2" thick. Same thickness as the pedestal bracket for air conditioning.

New replacement J-nut or they are sometimes called U-nuts. These clip into those square holes in the fender aprons for fastening the fenders on 1967-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs. These clips are 5/8 inches from the hole center to folded edge. We also see the same clips with 27/32 inch spacing for fender mounting. Numerous other uses, we find this clip on the hidden headlight buckets on 1967-68 Cougar and XR7's.

This threaded replacement wand will require you to cut 8/32" fine threads in your original controller. Your OEM mirror controller is made of a very soft metal so one can often install these as "self tapping".1967 and 1968 are different, see comparison picture. The 1968 version was rounded off due to new safety standards. The mirror nut tool will fit over the 1967 wand, but not the 1968.

C6ZZ-6582-H Smooth chromed valve cover without "Powered by Ford" embossed in the metal. Correct on 1967 DGS Mercury Cougar and optional on 1965-67 Ford Mustang with 289 engines. Ford master parts catalog shows a right and left version of this cover those numbers are C6ZZ-6582-H & C6ZZ-6582-J. *Note - This is a used chrome valve cover. Front retractor bolt, used in conjunction with two rubber spacer / washers and one washer. The two rubber washers go on either side of the re-tractor mounting hole and the metal washer is against the inner rocker.

Used under dash wiring harness repair plug and pigtail for the neutral safety switch / back-up lights and engine feed harness for the EARLY 1967 Mercury Cougar. C7ZZ-5482-B This is a factory used front sway bar. This is the same size 3/4 inch diameter as the 289 and 302 sway bar but has a slight difference in the bends for the 1967 390-4V or 6.5Liter engines. This bar was factory identified with a One-Yellow and One-Blue paint stripe. This factory used front sway bar, does not include any mounting brackets or end link kits.
