Pros:
  • The basic unit is sound
Cons:
  • You'll have to modify it to make it work
This part comes as a non-working unit. The heater/defrost flapper is bound up tightly as the rubber does not fit properly. After spending all this money I'm going to have to try and carefully get inside the box and cut the rubber seals down. It is unbelievable to me that whoever puts these together doesn't realize that it isn't going to work.

Plus, the way it is assembled, you can't take the flapper out to easily cut down the rubber so it will work. The reason I bought this is because the old flapper valve wouldn't move either --- now I have the same problem with a $350 part.
