the first apron I purchased was from mustangs unlimited because it was cheaper, i did specify that i needed the apron for a 67 cougar, however, i think it was for a mustang because the lower part below the tray area had a stamped crease. the side that welds to the shock tower would have had to be cut 1" to fit and most of the factory punched holes were not there. with the amount of work needed to make this fit my cougar i decided to order the apron from wccc. it was an absolute perfect fit with the exception of the 2 lower half moon notches, which i slightly grinded wider. the quality and fit of the wccc apron was top notch. thanks again for never being disappointed. john
I only used a section of the panel but all the bends and material thicknesses were a perfect match. I'm not a great welder but with a lot of small tacks around the edges it was not hard to get a good blend. Ground down welds and did not have to use a lot of filler. Stamping is a perfect match.
Needed to fix a rust hole on the battery shelf.I did not need to replace the entire apron. I cut out most of the shelf section but not all and welded it in. I had little to no mismatch between the old and new section. Near perfect match.
