My original Console Storage Bin was disintegrating so I needed this. A little expensive and not quite correct but still very nice. The original had a strange velvet-like texture on the interior. The reproduction is smooth. I sprayed the inside of the bin with clear texture coating and then painted it. It now has an acceptable, but not exactly correct, texture. This also fits very tight and is a bit tricky to get into my original console without it cracking. Be patient and don't force it, with the correct manipulation it will slide in front the front to the back with a little bending of the console sides. I had to drill out the rivet for the lighter bezel so I could get a good paint job.

This is a nice reproduction, no question. However, the one I got had an awkwardly placed lighter bezel. The rivet looked like it went in sideways and had to be straightened. It was no issue on mine, sine I had to drill out the rivet to remove the bezel and paint the part, but it would be an annoying distraction to you if you were going for a black console. On my console, the drilled holes in the bin did not line up 100%. There was minor fiddling required to make it fit properly. Still, all told, a worthy part for your car. I think I will be pleased with mine, but I wish the box had the velvety flocking the original had.
