great bushings, work like oem
.
As my shifter bushings were MIA, the difference is night to day. These work perfectly on my 67. Installation was a snap! Thank you
Changing the bushings went just fine. They made the gearshifter tight, With little, almost no sidemovments at all. The gearshifter must have been that way, when the car was brand New. So i can recomend those bushings, for fixing the gearshifter. I saw an youtube video of how it was done. Thanks form Terje.
Took a wobbly shift selector, and firmed it right up. Huge improvement, for very little money.
Hardest part of the replacement of these bushings was getting the cotter pin off the linkage. Don's video is a must watch and held make the job so much easier.
That did the trick
Parts worked well and now there is no slop in my shifters Would be better if made out of aluminum for future wear
This part is the cheap fix for the sloppy shift handle on automatic equipped cars. The material is better than OEM, but I found the fit to be a bit snug. Some white grease solved that problem. No way anyone is going to see it after it is installed, but originals were white. You can tell by the pieces of them left in your shifter housing when you open it up! Do yourself a favor and replace the shifter seal while you have the assembly apart. If you clean the assembly up now, you'll save a headache down the road, and not have to take the thing apart again.
Amazing difference. shifter has no more play to it. highly recommend
