The schematics were very clear and complete. They have been very helpful in tracking down my wiring problems. The only thing that would have made them better is if they had been color coded. Well, you can't have everything.

As far as I can tell the guide is great, though front lights flashing and a bad switch doesn't make sense, if it's flashing the TS switch worked, it couldn't flash on it's own. The missing key element is the emergency flasher switch itself. Turn signal power is routed through it, if the switches contacts are bad there will be no power to the turn signals, I know this because that was why my turn signals stopped functioning. When the TS switch was put back it pushed forward on the emergency switch separating the contact that feeds the the turn signals. Since the switch was not available I jumped a wire between the terminals and bypassed my emergency switch which didn't work anyway. Don't immediately blame the sequencer, learn the wiring and function first. I had built my own sequencer but when figuring out how to wire it I noticed the power routing through the Emergency switch and tested it. If your signals don't work, push the Emergency switch towards the front of the car, that should complete the circuit if that's your issue, pulling it back towards the driver would cause them to stop functioning again. I hope this helps, maybe they will add it to the troubleshooting that hasn't changed in over 10 years.
