They fit good.. The only issue I'm having is they're breaking down fairly quickly.. In one season the loops have broke through and I'm going to need to replace again.. But you can't beat it for the price..

They look and function good when installed. Getting them in is a bear though. The nubs that go into the fender were very difficult to get seated. Maybe applying some heat would have helped.

I ordered four of these to replace the ones that were missing from my 67'. They seemed to be made of good quality material, however unless you can miracle them in place or own a magic wand, forget it. I got so frustrated attempting to install them that I completely destroyed the base on one trying to put it in place. There's not much give to them and they seemed to tall or big as when I finally got one installed it made the hood rest higher than the fender. Sure do wish that they worked.

This brittle rubber will crack and break while stretching to install. Better to look for a used one, if any still exist.

This product looks great, when you don't have any issues with installation.

However, when installing the two that I ordered I had major problems. They are finicky when trying to install them under the hood. The first one installed fairly easily, though it was still tough to get in. The second fell apart while I installed it.



When you're paying under $2 for something like this, you get what you pay for. Not a bad product, but definitely one that will frustrate you during installation.

Make sure to use silicone paste to ease installation.



I also had an assistant apply downward pressure with a plastic spatula while I pulled from the underside of the fender by looping a rope through the hole in the retaining end. NOTE I did tear through one of them by pulling too hard on the rope. These are not easy to install, but the price is right and, hey, you need 'em!
