This is my 1st Cougar car, I have had Mustangs and a corvette in the past- I felt this would be similar to the mustangs and would be able to do and enjoy rebuilding it. I was half right anyway-did not know they had so many variations and the shop manual I bought covered 5 different cars (not as advertised-said 69 cougar). West Coast classic name popped up every time when I was doing research and I was fortunate to talked to Darrel Niemeyer who has helped me out on everything I asked without making me feel like an idiot. If he wasn’t sure what I was talking about he always asked me to send him a picture. He was able to explain what the part was and told me what I needed to order that they had, worked out perfect and because of him you now have a loyal customer and a repeat customer already (with more to come). I would like to stress the point that it was because of the way he responded to me that made the difference, I have not met to many people like him since I retired from the navy and reinforced my belief in why I served. Thank you for the help and advice in guiding me through this project, money is immaterial when it comes to service like that!
