Pros:
  • Good fit. Hard to find.
Cons:
  • Crap rivet.
As the other reviewer mentioned these are a great fit and look just like the originals. The issue is that the rivet is crap and breaks when installed as suggested in the video. I had to rig up a replacement with a flat head screw and nylon spaced. Worked fine but ended up being a couple trips to the hardware store and a PITA.

Pros:
  • Good replacement for crusty old rollers
Cons:
  • Metal pins need modification to work
Well... these rollers are a much-needed thing, and they work nicely once you get them installed. However, the metal pin that attaches the plastic roller to the window frame is not made out of the proper material. It's supposed to be mushroomed over on the back side like the originals. These are too brittle, and the ends just break if you try to squish them down. I had to grind off the ends and use a drill press to drill, then tap threads into each metal pin for the 6 rollers I replaced. Then used short screws to attach them to the window frames. It worked out fine in the end, but it was a lot of extra labor.

Pros:
  • very sturdy
Cons:
  • Pricey
I used these for the door windows. The rollers on my driver side door window was shot. I installed them two different ways, one way was doing a cross section with a hammer and chisel without the washer, I did the other with washer and a tool that was beveled and as I hammered the beveled tool into the back side of the roller pin, it spread out and then i just hammered it flat. I think i like the second way with the washer better. It would be nice to sell the rollers separate for the doors from the rear windows. I have left over parts that don't go on the front door windows. A bit pricey. See pictures for example. Both are very secure.

Cons:
  • wished it was a little cheaper.
We restore 4 mustangs a year in our shop. I haven't found a replacement window roller kit, that fits like factory. We needed the window channel rollers for drivers side. I called WCCC and talked with someone and before I could finish what I was explaining. he said you need this kit. We ordered two one as a backup, they fit perfect and worked great.
