Nice unit, fitment was good bolted right in, repro fan shroud went on without issue. Spacing to fan was dead on. it even does a good job of mimicking the factory shape. I'm now ready to cruise without worry in the hot North Texas Summers.
The Aluminum radiator looks great! Fits in the stock rubber holders as it should. The problem I have with it is the overflow exits to the passenger side. In my opinion, it should exit to the driver side as that’s where the majority of Cougar owners (cars in general) put their overflow tank.
The radiator is an excellent product itself. Well built and i'm sure would last many years. However after purchasing this radiator on suggestion of the staff of WCCC for my 68 XR7 with AC/302, it was way to big. The core radiator support is too small to support anything larger than a 20 inch radiator. Buyer beware, don't rely on this product description.WCCC Response:If you follow our video you should have no problems (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pc6t2Gfvyc). Check out the feedback on the video and our cooling kit, we have sold hundreds. If you send us a picture we can tell you what you are missing. Keep in mind the core support is the same for both small and large radiators, the differnece being that the small radiators (20") bolt to the core, big radiators (24") require brackets.
