A beautifully done book that has excellent facts and info on our beloved big cats. There’s not to many books just on Cougars out there but this makes up for that in a heartbeat.

Anybody who loves the classic Cougars needs this book! Ideal for birthday, Christmas, whatever. So much great information, fantastic pictures, overall very well done.



If you are looking for a gift for the Cougar lover in your life then this is it. If nobody else has gotten this book for you then get it for yourself!

Lot's of detail and learned many new things about the Cougar history

Just what I needed to start on my 71 cougar project. Wish I had it in the 80s when I did my first one.

Great book for cougar fans with many indepth and previously unknown facts that were unknown to me. A lot of photographs from private collections.

Although I have yet to read this book I did skim through it (this is why I gave it only 3 stars for correctiveness). I'm sure it will provide some interesting reading after the holidays in the winter months here in the Northeast.

Lots of information but to its correctness I'll have to take that verbatim. I don't have another to compare with. The writing seems rushed in some sections like there is only so much space for each bit of info.

I received the book here in France just about a week after ordering it. I started to take a look inside, and wasn't able to stop reading for a while. Lots of photos and material, and much more about the early Cougars that I love ... just awesome ! Thanks a lot.
