These were absolutely required for me because the 2 of the 3 screws holding the door window to the regulator track are so tight you have to drill them out. This means the screw will break off in the clip and you'll need to replace both the screw and the clip. The only screw I could remove without ruining the head was the screw that goes into the square nut. This was the case on each door.
