This worked perfectly, and built with heavier material then original.

Great fit and the quality is by far superior to the one that came on it in 69.

Still working great nearly 3 years later, no complaints on that.

Sorry For a late review but I wanted to use it through the car show season(summer of 2015) Tested and Tried so to speak.. I find it to be a really great replacement/direct fit. You won't find one out there made as good...I think it's even better than the original that came in the ole 69 Cougar in the day.
