This is a nice salvage shifter lever. I needed one because the one I had was rusty, and kept shredding the new shifter seals I tried to install. The one I got was a dead ringer for new: no rust or corrosion anywhere. This is a cheaper fix than the reproduction item out there. You can be certain of the fit, since it came off the same model car. Good used parts are always best for these Cougars. Sell you NOS stuff on eBay or trade it to Don for credit on parts like this. Unless you're building a hangar queen, this is the way to go.
