Close to new. 44 years later I can spruce up my rear and get rid of my old sun baked, gasoline ruined fuel door crest. Couldn't be happier with the restored Merc Crest Emblem.

The workmanship is excellent! I couldn't tell the difference between a NOS and the restored emblem. My only concern is trusting my epoxy application skills. I've screwed up so much stuff working on my 1969 Cougar, despite all the help I've gotten from WCCC. Of course you aren't going to have this issue, so no worries there.

The crest on my fuel door was trashed, so I ordered a restored one from WCCC. The restoration work was great, not a blemish on the crest. It fit perfectly and looks great on the back of my 70 convertible.

This 'restored' item came with only slight pitting and clear coating on the center. I did receive the $50.00 core charge, making this a fair deal.
