Concours? Well almost... These are stainless steel screws with the wax tipped coating like the originals, for installing the door sill plates. The wax was deemed necessary by the Ford Motor Co. as a seal. These can be used on all years 1967-73 Mercury Cougar, Ford Mustang and most all other Ford, Mercury, Lincoln cars of the era. We suggest using white lithium grease or petroleum jelly to ensure the seal will not stick to the shift lever. Fits 1969-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang, additionally it also fits 1971+ Maverick and Comet with floor shift automatic only.  If you have any side-to-side play in the shifter, this seal will not last. Fits RH or LH standard interior, two required per car. Has correct grain texture and injection molded exactly like originals. Includes metal clip retainers pre-installed as well as the clips themselves. Use any solvent based paint to match the color of your interior. Passenger side seat back release assembly, can me used for a conversion of 1970 high-backed seat backs for use in 1969 Mercury Cougar Eliminator and Ford Mustang Mach 1.
