The early Cougars had a lower profile head on the outer knob. It is assumed they beefed up the design in early in the year because the knobs were easily broken. These delicate plastic knobs are very hard to find in this condition. Only the utmost purist would care to obtain a trivial detail part such as these to make their car correct. You will not realize how yellowed your original is until you put it next to this new one. Correct for XR7 or standard 67-68 consoles. Note, these install much easier if you trim a small sliver off each of the four mounting tabs with a utility blade.

Good reproduction of a very sought after part. Correct thickness, comes with correct green marker needle. If your current lens is foggy it will not buff out as the problem is internal, not on the surface of the lens. We have been waiting a long time for this one! Used " BLUE " high beam indicator lens for the 1967 Standard Model Mercury Cougar. The early 1967 lens was taped to the back of the dash pad. The late 1967 used a lens with a small metal housing. This is that the later version. About 2-7/8 inches long and has a black plastic insert as shown. Wiper knob must be removed prior to installing the dash pad. Metal tabs bend to hold to the reverse side of the 1968 face pad. Ford part engineering number 10A936.

Good used lens that has not gone milky from over exposure to the sun. Not for use on the XR7 speedometer or clocks found on the XR7 or Standard models. To get these lenses looking new you will have to use a three step plastic polish like Novus or Meguires plastic polish. Used on both the speedometer and tachometer lens. Comes with plastic keeper / washer that connects it from the backside of the lens. Sold individually, two required per cluster. These are in used condition as shown and need restoration. This item may require epoxy. The mounting stud on rear may not be present. It is plastic and originally melted over.
