This part is installed on all XR7 fuel sending units and Cougars and Mustangs with the optional Convenience Control Package. Low quality off shore part that requires soldering to your fuel sending unit. This is a temperature sensing device that activates when the fuel level drops enough to expose the unit at which point the circuit is closed and the low fuel light comes on. Commonly referred to as a Thermister / Thermistor / Low Fuel Sending Unit.

Our service is to rebuild your sending unit. A quality core is required. This rebuilt XR7 fuel sending unit has been meticulously gone through and made operational again. Wiring harness for the low fuel sending units on 1968 Mercury Cougar XR7 and standard models with low fuel warning light. The Safety Convenience Option included a low fuel warning light.
