This reproduction knob set is made by Scott Drake Enterprises. Unlike our knobs, these units have a much larger font. Considering the average Classic Mustang owner is probably 50 years old or more, this was a pretty good idea to do them in this manner since the originals are rather hard to read while driving. This 1967-68 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang shield, was installed at the factory to protect the heater motor from being damaged when the Big Block 390-427-428's were being dropped in. As noted in the factory assembly manuals we sell, they were supposed to be removed once the motor was in place.
