This decal was used on the Standard model Mercury Cougar for 1968 and both the XR7 and Standard model Mercury Cougar for 1967. Will require slight trimming for perfect fit. If you place a piece of 80 grit sand paper (or file/emery board) on a firm surface you will be able to bring the height of the decal down with just a few strokes of both the upper and lower edge. This is the aluminum emblem which mounts on the center of all scuff plates. Features raised script surrounded by "Product Of Ford" like original, adhesive backed and protective coating. Sold individually, two required per car. Replaces Ford part # C8ZZ-6513208-T.  Technically this is the version found on early 1967 cars, the late 67 and 1968 versions had a larger blue oval 'Ford', and did not have the 'Product of' line.

For 1967 both the XR7 and Standard model used the decal shown on this reproduction trunk lock cover. For 1968 only the Standard model used this decal as the XR7 and XR7G had their own unique center badging. *NOTE* You will have to apply the licensed by Ford decal to the deck lock cover. Most of our grade A pads (other than black) will show some degree of fading. If you plan on repainting let us know and instead of replacing the reproduction emblem and beauty ring we will leave them off the pad for you to install after painting.
