Reproduction anti-squeak pad for the leaf springs found on the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This little unit goes between each individual leaf spring and prevents metal to metal contact. These are sold individually and eight are required per car. Our reproduction leaf springs come with this pad pre-installed. Replaces Ford part # C0AA-5586.

Correct leaf spring eye bushing bolts for the 1967 Mercury Cougar. 6.5" in length. Set includes 2 bolts and 2 nuts. Replaces Ford Part #: C5ZZ-5781-A.

This eyelet bushing is made from higher grade rubber and unlike the NOS and other reproductions has a solid center shaft. The center shaft of this reproduction is a flat piece of steel that is bent into a circle to make the shaft for the eyelet bolt to go through, just like NOS.  Two per car, these are used on one end of the leaf springs and the shackles are used at the other end. Poly eyelet bushing that will fit any 1967 through 1973 Mercury Cougar. Replaces Ford Part #: C4DZ-5781-C.

These have a different look than the reproductions and we only keep the very best ones, meaning we discard them if they are corroded, bent or have badly worn threads. In addition to carefully inspecting each one we chase the threads on both the bolt and the nut but of course we are careful not to over do it on the nut as they are designed to give resistance when threading them on. Application: most 1967-1973 with any V-8 engine. A Right and Left bracket are needed for most applications. Including all 1968 - 1970 428 CJ automatic transmission Cougars. **Excludes 1969 - 1970 Boss 302 & 428 Cobra Jet 4 speed Cougars. That application had staggered rear shock plates. Hint - that would be two C9OZ-5796-C right side shock plates.Replaces Ford part number C9OZ-5796-B.

This 3 degree wedge properly sets the pinion angle for the drive shaft. This is a Cougar specific part which is needed due to the longer than normal rear leaf spring length. There are other wedges, but we seldom see them. This 3 degree marked wedge is the most prolific one. Feel secure in using these as a replacement.  Sold individually, two required per vehicle. Orientation: Narrow end towards the front of the car.
