This PDF file is much easier to read than the hard copies I purchased when I bought my car. They helped me solve my wiring issues.
very helpful, was able to diagnose a problem and fix it myself instead of paying a shop!
O my gosh - when I got this 68 Cougar the wiring was a complete and TOTAL mess. People over the years had spliced red wires to brown to yellow, had whole clumps of the harness that was melted together and hardly anything electrical worked on this car. I usually rewire my Mustangs from ground up and will do the same for this Cougar down the road, but just wanted to reuse as much as possible for now. I downloaded the electrical schematics and each day my goal to get 1-2 items rewired and working. After 2-3 weeks, I got everything working right down to the glove box light. Unfortunately I sent the car off a few months later to be painted where the electrical was sabotaged (wires cut, pulled out of plugs, etc) by a disgruntle employee. The owner of the shop told me the employee did the same to other cars in the shop. Needless to say I lost faith in that shop and had my car towed back to the house where I started the wiring process all over again. A week into it and got most of the electrical systems working again (better with practice - right?). Couldn't have done it (twice now) without this set of electrical schematics
Rebuilding an 1968 cougar Xr7. Some of the issue you run in with a 50 year old car is wiring. This even more true when you get the car with out all systems working when you get it, I was able to get and read through the documents so that I was able to test and check the different electrical systems to see what was not working what was changed by other owners. Best part it’s free
What a great thing to have!!! and free too! Every Cougar owner should have this. Thank you WCCC for making this available. Makes working on the wiring a breeze.
Very useful. Much quicker than using the book! Thank you WCCC for making this a free download!
Can't beat the price of this schematic!!
Great schematic if you are adding it to your library or tracking down a problem, download and print . Yes its that simple.......Thanks WCCC
