Reproduction Lower Windshield Moulding Retainer for the 1969 1970 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang 

New lower windshield moulding retainer screw. The retainers slide into the lower stainless steel windshield moulding and attach with these screws into the cowl top. #8 x 1/2 inch hex washer head screw with 1/4 inch drive. Used roller for any 1969-70 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang hardtop or convertible rear quarter glass channel. Often times one of the little branches breaks off and allows chattering of the window movement. Included is a good roller and drilled out rivet. These can be reused if you drill out the center of the rivet and using a tap, cut threads into the hole of your desired machine screw or bolt size. Re-install with a washer and you are done. 

This is the type of material that was used to install gasketless windshields starting in 1969. Tom, at KTL Restorations shared this product with West Coast Classic Cougar. Product comes as a 3/8 inch diameter continuous round bead, coiled in 15 foot lengths.

Fits all Mustangs, Cougars, Fords 65-70. Attaches the striker on the door pillar, the big screws. Little known fact: these aren't Phillips head screws, they are actually Pozi head / Pozi-Driv screws. While you can usually get a large Phillips screwdriver to work, the correct tool for these fasteners is a size 4 Pozi bit.

Unlike our un-restored used door glass trim and are sold in pairs only. If you are doing a concours correct restoration then these would not be for you as they have been "over restored" to a mirror like finish. The down fall of having such a mirror like finish is they get finger prints on them every time you touch them. The good part is they look HOT! Used windshield wiper motor cover or shield as Ford called it. Very prone to cracking and 'chalky' from age or UV light. We are not going to lie, most of these will have paint over spray or a slight amount of chalkiness. We haven't found a Ford part number other than the basic number of 17C441 which is labeled as "Shield - (Windshield Wiper Motor - Water)" as found in the Mercury MPC.

Quarter window upper adjusting screw and nut - used. Mounts to the extension assembly bracket. For all 1969-70 Mercury Cougars and Ford Mustangs. Includes bolt and nut as shown. Reproduction Lower Windshield Moulding Center Spacer for the 1969 1970 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang 

Used spacer for the lower windshield moulding, also called an 'anti rattler'. 4 of these plastic pieces were used per car. These spacers were originally installed between the retainers. A total of 7 plastic spacers were used along with 7 metal retainers for that lower windshield moulding. This concours correct reproduction weatherstrip is for the perimeter of the doors on the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This set has the door to back of door glass seal bonded to the end of the strips and will need to be glued in place.
