Most times you do not need new hinges but rather new bushings and pins. If your hinges are such that the holes are "hogged out" and no longer seat the bushing firmly then you will need to buy one of our good used hinges that come with new bushings and pin. These overseas hinges are not known for fitting well, we cannot recommend them and we do not accept returns or exchanges on them. Replaces Ford part #: C7ZZ-6522800-C. ...

This mirror nut for the 70 - 73 Cougar or Mustang is made from stainless steel, as compared to the other reproduction we offer which is made from die cast metal. A few benefits of the stainless steel nut is that the finish on it will not tarnish over time, and that it cannot be cross threaded.

This unique gasket is only slightly different from the driver side. The angle at the front is just a little different and notice it does not have a hole drilled for the remote mirror cable used on the driver side. This gasket was also used on the 1971 Ford Torino / Ranchero and Mercury Cyclone. This is an upgrade over the reproduction we carry for a 1969 - 1970 Cougar that has a passenger side Sport Mirror. Good working grade "A" driver side (left hand) mirror that will look as good as the one shown here. Since the wand is recessed into the door panel on the 1969 Cougar, the wand is not prone to breaking off like the 1970 version which protrudes straight out. NOTE - Cable length should be 18" from the base of the mirror to the inner end of the remote wand assembly. The wand will be intact on this grade "A" driver side (left hand) remote mirror and the chrome will be free of pits. Notice the 1970 mirrors differ from 1969 in that the wand exits the door panel at a 90 degree angle. Rarely do we have a mirror this nice but you can get in line for the next one that becomes available by selecting the "notify me option" and we will email you when one comes in. Looks identical to the OEM Ford plates, has new starter ring installed. Has the correct 28oz. weight for vintage 289/302 engines. The 5.0 liter engines used a 50oz. imbalance.
