    Description

All Cougar, Mustang and Shelby convertibles used this trunk divider board and well (or boot) liner combination in 1969 and 1970. Unlike the 67-68 Mustang trunk divider that screwed to the trunk floor the 69-70 version was stitched to the bottom of the well liner. Held in position by the stitching on the bottom and gravity resting the top of the divider on the trunk lid hinge spring, it was a good clean looking fit.The relief on the bottom was there so you could swing the divider forward to have access top pump and possibly to gain you a tad more trunk room when the top was up.

Several verified original 1969-70 convertible trunk dividers were used to develop this reproduction. We are particularly proud of this product because it’s such a good copy. The board material is just like the originals in color, finish, thickness and water resistant coating on the side facing the well liner. The seam used at the top of the board was reproduced to help maintain the boards shape and the board was stitched onto the best quality well liner available. During research it was discovered the divider board was painted black then stitched onto the well liner backside up so this caused the needle to break the board material a little when it punched through the board. All the details are right on this one! Below are some more pictures our trunk divider.
