Most often the problem with our Grade "B" deck / trunk lids is rust under the lip. We have some "B" rated deck / trunk lids with dents on the top side and no rust, so call 503-463-1130 if you have a preference. We do not sell "rotted out" deck / trunk lids. Trunk lock cylinder retainer for all 1973 Mercury Cougars, different retaining configuration from 1971-72 Cougars. The MPC does not show the part number but it is likely D3WY-6543629-A. Mustangs used a different retainer with a Mustang part number.

Reproduction scissor jack for any year Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This is a cheap Chinese jack that is clearly marked "For Display Use Only, Not for Lifting Vehicles". It resembles an original scissors jack, but there are several differences. It functions properly and will lift weight, but we wouldn't use it on any of our personal cars. This is the ACME brand like used by Wile E Coyote.

Original space saver tire marked F78-15 from a 1970's Mercury or Ford. GoodYear brand it has the larger hub size, bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2. Nice unused space saver spare tire for a Ford. Vintage Good Year brand tire with size F78-14. BF Goodrich is another common brand of tire installed for use with unique storage location, hold down, and inflation bottle. This one does not appear to have been inflated or used on the road. Still has the nubs on the face of the tire as shown.

This tiny little spring has a diameter no larger than a pencil. Its function is to attach the deck lock cover to the deck lock housing and to keep the deck lock cover closed. After waiting several months, these reproduction 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougar Deck Lock (Trunk Lock) covers are now finished! The reproduction chrome cover shown here sports a very rare original Ford, NOS XR7 decal. The NOS decal is different from our reproduction in three subtle areas. There are several differences between this NOS decal and the good quality reproduction we offer. This is the best made, most correct Mercury Cougar trunk mat on the market (Mustang mats will not fit). Made of heavy die-cut vinyl with correct gray and black plaid pattern.
