Rod used for locking the 4 speed manual transmission in "Reverse". Connects to the lower tab of the steering column and the reverse control transmission lever shift arm. Prevents the transmission from shifting out of reverse when the ignition key is removed. New Old Stock Ford C4 or C6 transmission modulator valve for 1967-73 Mercury Cougar or 1965-73 Ford and Mustang. Also known as the throttle valve, this valve controls vacuum to the transmission as you press the gas pedal, and it will apply higher control pressure for better quality shifts at higher RPMs. Ford part number C4AZ-7A377-B.

This clips affixes the plastic speedometer gear to the cable. Some have found that this OEM original clip fits a little better than the reproduction we offer. *Trivia* Did you know the first Cougar cast for production in 1968 was this "Custom Cougar"?
