Used brake pedal support bracket for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang equipped with a manual transmission and manual drum brakes. Not to be used in cars produced before 6/25/1972. If you have a manual transmission car with worn out clutch bushings, this is a great replacement part for you as it will have been removed from an automatic transmission equipped car. This means the clutch bushings will be in mint and unused condition. Ford part # D3ZZ-6501508-A.

This FMX switch is correct for 1972 and 1973 but works fine on 1969, 1970 and 1971. The only difference is that the later models had one extra plug that will not be utilized when used on a 69 - 71. Ford called this part a 'sleeve'. Attaches to the lower shifter arm with a hitch pin. Has nice bushing, with correct nut, washer, and pin. The 1967/68 and 1969/73 versions are identical.
