Loading Trivia . . .
In all cases, we urge you to verify that your engine has the proper cylinder heads for use with these Thermactor exhaust air supply tubes. Additionally the 1968 - 1970 tubes need a (set of 8) nut and ferrule assembly along with the proper exhaust supply lower tube for each cylinder. We offer select, used smog components when they become available, and we are working hard to research all of the needed parts to complete an OEM looking smog system with used and reproduction parts. The air supply hoses would have part numbers on some of the molded hoses. Others we are not sure. The MPC does not list bulk hose like in other sections. For 1967, the air supply hose is roughly .75? I.D. x 1.09? O.D. and had a bumpy alligator hide type of texture. In 1968 the hose had a rough ?alligator hide? type texture and measured roughly .672? I.D. x .936? O.D. We suggest finding rubber vacuum hose of the proper dimensions and cut to length. If you are lucky enough to have original hoses, they can be often cleaned and made to look fresh with spray on tire cleaning foam and good old elbow grease.
