Complete used kit as taken off of a clean Western Eliminator or 1970 Cougar equipped with competition handling package. Application; 390, 427, 351CJ, 428CJ, and 429CJ all with C6 transmission. 428CJ and 429CJ 4 speed transmissions. 1970 351C-4v with FMX.U-joint size 1330, overall length 8-3/4 inches.

This would be for the non-competition suspension Cougars. U-Bolt length 7 inches, and threads 1-1/4 inch in length. U-Bolts include two (2) correct style attaching nuts 7/16-20 threads. This size of U-bolt seems to be the most common found on Cougars, no matter the leaf pack stack.  Ford part number C7WY-5705-A. Standard suspension U-Bolts run about 6-3/4 inches in length, see related items.

Good used axle vent nipple or tube. This vent tube screws into the top of the rear axle and is a breather / vent to equalize the pressure inside the axle tube. Fits both 8 inch and 9 inch rear axles. Fits Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang 1967-73.  A (5/16" inside diameter) rubber hose about 18-1/4 inches long attaches to the nipple. Has a very tiny diameter hole inside, about 0.062".
