There never was an Eliminator convertible from the factory, but we think there should have been. Since the rear quarter panels are shaped differently, we redesigned the side stripes to fit the contours of the convertible Cougar correctly. Otherwise, these are the same stripes we sell in coupe format, cut from OE-spec 3M Scotchcal vinyl and designed from a NOS stripe kit. Quality and fit are second to none.
There was also never a white Eliminator stripe kit in 1970 (unlike 1969) but we figured we'd make these available for those wanting a custom look.
The kit includes 14 separate pieces, including all side stripes, hood stripes, rear spoiler stripe, and ELIMINATOR rear quarter panel decals. Unlike our black 1970 stripe kits, this white kit does not include the 3-piece rear trim blackout strips, for obvious reasons.
