This product is an NOS Part.
NOS items are OEM parts from Ford that have been sitting on shelves or in warehouses for years. These are often great examples of the orignal parts, but they may have scratches or other shelf wear.
However be aware that some NOS parts are "service replacement" parts. "Service replacement" parts are not exact replacements of the parts that were installed at the factory, but are what Ford considered as "good enough" and were used at Ford dealerships after the original supply of parts was exhausted.

Used on the optional 1968 Mercury Cougar styled steel wheel in the 14x6" size as well as the 1968 Torino and Mustang. Also used on the 1969 Eliminator 12 hole wheel so as to match the brushed center cap. Master Parts Catalog description: 15-3/8" O.D., 12" I.D, 2" wide, brushed finish, sold individually. These are easy to identify from the 1967 or 1969 - 1970 as they are the only ring with a brushed finish used on the SS wheels 1967-1970. These are getting very hard to come by, and most customers will be happy with our reproduction ring that is not brushed. This ring will be almost perfect with no curb rash or dents. Keep in mind we have grade "B" rings at less than half the price.
