     If we use the word "Core" in the title of the product, the item has been deemed rebuildable, but has not been rebuilt.  The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.

    Used hood latch for a 1969 Mercury Cougar, it will fit the 1970 too. Starting in 1969 until 1970, Mercury had three different hood latches. This early 1969 version has the shortest handle, and is the hardest to operate. Those early 1969 latches are a two finger operation for those of us with large hands. The part shipped will likely not be as clean as the one in the picture.
